Introduction

When I went to Turkey a few years ago as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student I made a very crucial mistake. I lost every single one of my photo's and on returning to South Africa did not have a single anything to help me remember my 2 months I spent there. It did not help that my blazer with all my badges was stolen upon my return either!

This time I promised myself I would not make the same mistake and hence the creation of this blog. I know the popular form of communication these days is facebook (of which I am also a member), but I find it lacking in the capacity to really express ones self and hopefully this blog will pick up the slack.

My facebook page is going to be more communications network and only cover the "big events", while this blog is going to be a little bit more in depth for those of you who really want to know what is going on. (Yes that means you Mom! )

I've never really been one for correspondence, but this is my attempt at turning over a new leaf, Lets hope it works!
